Te Akau track work highlights - Tuesday 31 October -

Course Proper:

Splurge (Bosson) galloped over 1000 metres in 1.09.9, last 600 in 40.5. He worked well as he aims toward the Open 1300 metres at Tauranga this Saturday.

Aquilo (McNab) and Icebomb (Pinn) worked very well together over 1000 metres in 1.08.1, running the last 600 in 39.9. Aquilo will resume at Tauranga on Saturday while Icebomb is working towards racing at Taranaki on Friday.

Last start winner Mongolianconqueror (Lammas) and Zambezi Warrior (Bakar) galloped over 1200 metres in 1.23.6, running 1000 metres in 1.10, last 600 in 40. Mongolianconqueror heads to Taranaki on Friday to contest the Rating 65 1800 metres while Zambezi Warrior also heads down the line but to Awapuni on Saturday to race in the Rating 85 1550 metre event.

Hushed (McNab) worked over 1200 metres in 1.24.1, last 600 in 41. Hushed is on target to race at Ellerslie early next week.

Vinevale (Bosson) and Lucy Wyldstyle (Lammas) paired up to gallop over 1000 metres in 1.10.8, last 600 in 41. Vinevale has race options at both Tauranga and Awapuni on Saturday while Lucy Wyldstyle builds toward the Maiden 1400 metres at Taranaki this Friday.

Gold Fever (K Price) led Miss Scandinavia (Pinn) at three quarter pace over 800 metres in 58.1, last 600 in 43.7.

Witchery (Leveque) and Fine Bouquet (Lammas) galloped together over an easy 800 metres in 55, last 600 in 40.

Sword Of Osman (Bosson) and Prise De Fer (McNab) galloped really well over an easy 600 metres in 38.5.

3g Rock 'N' Pop - Our Zara (Leveque), Cavort (M Grylls) and 3f Fastnet Rock - Schooner Bay (Tan) all worked together over an easy 800 metres, running the last 600 in 38.

2f Snitzel - Enduja (Tan) and Mongolian Angel (Leveque) galloped an easy 600 metres in 40.

Shebringsmerubies (Tan) and Pinot Grey (Burdan) galloped over an easy 600 metres in 38.

Enduring Love (M Grylls) and Pinultimate (Lammas) looked good when galloping an easy 600 metres in 39.

Twilight Zone (Leveque) and Oceana Lad (Bakar) galloped together over and easy 600 metres in 38.5.

Lady Painton (Leveque) worked solo at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.01, last 600 in 46.

Chambord (McNab) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.16, last 600 in 45. He was followed by The Chaser (Bakar) who ran similar times.

Full Of Grace (Burdan) travelled on his own over 1000 metres, running home in 46 and will soon have his race day debut.

Seirios (McNab) worked solo at three quarter pace over 800 metres in 1 minute, last 600 in 45.2. 3g Azamour - Franny (Bakar) also worked over 800 metres, running similar times.

Heroic Valour (Bosson) looked good when travelling at three quarter pace over 1000 metres, running the last 600 in 43.

Scarlet Princess (K Price) and Unfazed (Pinn) looked good when working together at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.15.3, last 600 in 45.

Organza (Burdan) worked at three quarter pace over 800 metres in 59.8, last 600 in 45. Piper (Lammas) also travelled over 800 metres, running similar times.

Master Painton (M Grylls) and Qian Cheng (Tan) galloped an easy 800 metres, running the last 600 in 38.5.
