Plough (Good): Fog prevented some timing

Preparing for the meeting this Saturday at Ellerslie, Spellbinder (Cameron) worked solo over 1200 metres in 1:23. She resumes in the Benchmark 75 1200 metres after finishing third to stable-mate Costa Viva (Encosta De Lago) in the 1000 Guineas (Gr. 1, 1600m). She is pictured below two days before Christmas.

Also racing at Ellerslie, Flaming (Hercock - pictured below) and Sir Darci (Cameron) covered 1000 metres in 1:06.1, last 600m in 36.7. Off a freshen, two-year-old filly Flaming (Bachelor Duke) races over 1200 metres and Sir Darci (Darci Brahma) contests the Benchmark 65 1400 metres having taken benefit from his fresh-up run for fourth at Taupo.

Heading south to race in the Benchmark 85 1600 metres on Saturday at Awapuni, Precious Time (Hercock) worked solo over 1000 metres in 1:06 ahead of her second start off a long spell.
