Te Akau track work highlights - Tuesday 27 February -

Plough:

Princess Davone (D Tan) looked good working at three quarter pace over 1200 metres in 1.31, home in 45.8.

The Chaser (M McNab) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.16, last 600 in 44.5 while Nucleonic (C Lammas) worked along nicely at three quarter pace over 800 metres in 1.01, last 600 in 44.9.

Master Painton (C Leveque) worked solo at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.14, last 600 in 44. Devil May Care (K Price) also worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres, running similar times.

Mongolianconqueror (M McNab) and Gris Dame (C Lammas) worked nicely over 1200 metres, running 1.19.3, last 600 in 37.6. Mongolianconqueror is set to run in the Group 1 Vodafone NZ Derby and Gris Dame is due to contest the Group 3 McKee Family Sunline Vase at Ellerslie on Saturday.

Swing Note (K Price) worked at three quarter pace over 1200 metres, running the last 1000 metres in 1.13.3, home in 43.3. Swing Note is now set for the Group 3 Little Avondale Lowland Stakes at Hastings on Thursday.

3f He's Remarkable - Andra (D Tan) looked good working at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.16.

Fabulous Flight (D Tan) and Inspire Me (C Leveque) galloped 800 metres in 52, last 600 in 38.4. They were followed by Cloudburst (N Bakar) who ran similar times.

Te Akau Dragon (C Burdan) worked at three quarter pace over 800 metres, running the last 600 in 44.5.

In preparation for the Group 3 Darley Stallions Plate at Ellerslie on Saturday, Heroic Valour (M McNab) looked good working in company over 1000 metres in 1.03.1, home in 35.9.

3g Rock 'N' Pop - Our Zara (K Price) and Rock Idol (C Lammas) paired up to gallop 1000 metres in 1.04.

Together (K Price) worked at three quarter pace over 800 metres in 1 minute, last 600 in 44.5.

All Weather:

2f Burgundy - Trove (C Leveque) worked nicely on her own at three quarter pace over 600 metres in 44.7. 2g Reliable Man - Lumir (C Leveque), Quattro Katie (O Miller) and 2f Savabeel - Ampin (M Lambert) worked over 600 metres, running similar time.

D'Oro Mantra (C Leveque), Miss Hepburn (M Lambert) and Mongolian Angel (D Tan) galloped an easy 600 metres in 41.

Platonica (N Bakar), 2g Savabeel - La Belle Epoque (C Burdan) and Twilight Zone (M McNab) all galloped together over 600 metres in 38.9.

Shebringsmerubies (M Lambert), 2f So You Think - Headsup (C Leveque) paired up to gallop an easy 600 metres in 40.

2f Reliable Man - Keenly (K Price) and 2f Makfi - Espresso Cavallo (R Alam) looked very good galloping an easy 600 metres in 39.

2f Ekraar - Fiveundred (K Price) and Lady Of Camelot (R Alam) galloped nicely over an easy 600 metres in 39.8.

Grand Ariana (M Lambert) and Ritzy Sparkle (C Leveque) worked over 600 metres in 42.2.

Ellerslie - Course Proper:

Avantage (O Bosson) and 2f Rip Van Winkle - Galway (T Newman) galloped pleasingly over 1000 metres in 59.7, home in 35.8. Avantage readies for the Group 1 Sistema Stakes at Ellerslie on 10 March while the Rip Van Winkle - Galway filly prepares for a race day debut in due course.

Flemington - Steeple Grass:

Embellish (Daniel Miller) worked in company over 1000 metres in 1.02, home in 36. He looks super and is scheduled to race in the Group 1 Australian Guineas at Flemington this Saturday.

Randwick - Heavy9 Course Proper:

Preparing for the Group 1 Surround Stakes at Randwick on Saturday, Melody Belle (Katelyn Mallyon) and stakes' winner Debonairly galloped 1000 metres in 1.08, last 600 in 39 and the last 400 in 23. All reports are very pleasing and the filly is in great order.
