Te Akau track work highlights - Tuesday 6 March -
Plough:
Preparing for the 2YO 1200 metres at Matamata on 14 March, Handsome Rebel (O Bosson) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.15.
Elegant D'Oro (S Rusof) worked at three quarter pace over 1200 metres in 1.27.
Princess Davone (D Tan) looked good working at three quarter pace over 1200 metres in 1.32.3, home in 41.8.
Nucleonic (T Newman) and 3f Fastnet Rock - Schooner Bay (M Lambert) worked nicely at three quarter pace over 800 metres, running the last 600 in 42.
Qian Gua (C Leveque) looked very good preparing for the Maiden 1600 metres at Hawera (12 March), galloping an easy 1200 metres in 1.26.6, last 600 in 40.6.
Cloudburst (N Bakar) worked at three quarter pace over 800 metres, running the last 600 in 43.5. He was followed by Te Akau Dragon (C Burdan) who looked good running similar time.
Master Painton (C Leveque) worked along nicely at three quarter pace over 1000 metres
Scrutinize (O Bosson) and Our Abbadean (T Newman) galloped 1200 metres in 1.18, running the last 1000 in 1.03. Scrutinize is scheduled to contest the Rating 75 2100 metres at Ellerslie on Saturday while Our Abbadean travels to Trentham to race in the Open 2100 metres.
Pacific Coast (N Bakar) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.16.
Sword Of Osman (O Bosson) galloped nicely on his own over 1000 metres in 1.08, home in 37.5. Sword Of Osman prepares for the $200,000 Group 1 Sistema Stakes (2YO SW, 1200m) at Ellerslie on Saturday.
Also set to race in the Sistema Stakes, Avantage (O Bosson) and The Real Beel (S Rusof) galloped well over 1000 metres in 1.05.1, last 800 in 50.
All Weather:
Seaforth Lass (M Lambert) and 2f Cape Blanco - My Fiancee (D Tan) looked good when pairing up to work at three quarter pace over 600 metres.
2f Savabeel - Ampin (C Leveque), 2g Reliable Man - Lumir (D Tan) and 2f Pentire - Platinum Blond (R Alam) worked nicely together at three quarter pace over 600 metres.
