Te Akau track work highlights -  Tuesday 24 April -

Plough:

Master Painton (C Burdan) worked nicely over 1000 metres in 1.11.2, home in 40.6.

Fine Bouquet (C Leveque) worked solo at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.16, last 600 in 44.

Preparing to race at Tauranga this Thursday, Devil May Care (N Bakar) worked over 1000 metres in 1.12.6, last 600 in 42.6.

Vinevale (T Newman) and Paulownia (M McNab) looked good galloping 1000 metres in 1.03.5, home in 36.3. Vinevale is set to resume in the Rating 75 1200 metres at Te Rapa this Saturday, while Paulownia prepares for the Group 3 Cambridge Breeders' Stakes, also at Te Rapa.

Our Abbadean (S Rusof) galloped 1200 metres alongside a mate, running the last 1000 in 1.04, home in 36. Our Abbadean readies for the Group 2 Travis Stakes at Te Rapa on Saturday.

Total Excess (M McNab) and Grand Ariana (T Newman) galloped 1000 metres in 1.04.9, last 600 in 37.2. They were followed by followed by Quattro Katie (S Rusof) who ran very similar times. Total Excess and Quattro Katie aim toward racing in the Maiden 2YO 1200 metres at Hastings on Saturday.

Building toward a start at Tauranga this Thursday, Full Of Grace (N Bakar) worked along nicely at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.17, home in 44.

Amelia Grace (S Rusof) and 2g Declaration Of War - Uberalles (N Bakar) paired up to gallop an easy 600 metres in 40. 2f Tavistock - Tinsel Time (C Lammas) and 2g O'Reilly - Tonic (C Leveque) also galloped 600 metres, running similar time.
