Course Proper:

Readying for the Group 1 Tarzino Trophy at Hastings on Saturday, Melody Belle (S Rusof) and Our Abbadean (O Bosson) looked good galloping over 1000 metres in 1.06.5, last 600 in 37.6.

Richard Of Yorke (O Bosson) and Te Akau Shark (S Rusof) galloped 1000 metres in 1.09, last 600 in 39.7. Te Akau Shark is set to resume in the Rating 82 1200 metres at Hastings on Saturday, while Richard Of Yorke builds toward a South Island campaign, kicking off at Riccarton on 8 September.

Preparing to resume on Saturday at Ruakaka or Hastings, King Kane (S Rusof) galloped 1000 metres in 1.06, home in 39.5.

No. 2 Sand:

Embellish (O Bosson) worked along quietly at three quarter pace over 800 metres in 58. She's Not Bad (C Leveque) and Total Excess (S Rusof) also worked over 800 metres, running similar time.

Tiffany's Time (D Tan) worked at three quarter pace over 800 metres in 1.01, last 600 in 46.

Motivation (S Rusof) worked at three quarter pace, on his own over 800 metres in 57.7.

Chance To Dance (D Tan) worked well over 1000 metres in 1.15.8, home in 43.6.

Together (N Bakar), followed by Elegant D'Oro (L Miller) worked at three quarter pace over 800 metres - unfortunately no time was taken due to the fog.
