Te Akau track work highlights - Tuesday 11 September -

Course Proper:

Preparing to resume in the Group 3 Northland Breeders' Stakes (3YO SW, 1200m) at Ruakaka on Saturday, Sword Of Osman (O Bosson) galloped nicely over 1000 metres in 1.08.8, last 600 in 39.3.

Qian Gua (S Rusof) worked over an easy 1200 metres in 1.30.9, last 600 in 43. Qian Gua is set to resume in the Rating 72 1600 metres at Ruakaka.

Also readying to race at Ruakaka Te Akau Dragon (O Bosson) and Mongolianconqueror (N Bakar) paired up to gallop 1000 metres in 1.08.2, home in 39.6.

English Rose (S Rusof) and Icebomb (N Bakar) galloped 1000 metres in 1.08.8, last 600 in 39.3. The pair was followed by Duck Road (O Bosson) who ran similar times. English Rose and Duck Road are set to head down the line to race at Woodville on Friday, while Icebomb will race at Ruakaka (Saturday) or Rotorua (Sunday).

Red Jakkal (O Bosson) and Willpower (N Bakar) galloped 1000 metres in 1.08.3, home in 39.7.  Golden Age (O Bosson) and Ocean Star (N Bakar) galloped 1000 metres in 1.08.9, final 600 in 40.1 - all horses are nominated for the Maiden 3YO events at Ruakaka on Saturday.

No. 2 Sand:

Elegant D'Oro (N Bakar) worked at three quarter pace over 800 metres, running home in 46.

Irish Heart (S Rusof) worked at three quarter pace over 800 metres, running home in 44.5.

Pinot Grey (T Newman) galloped an easy 800 metres in 57.5, home in 42.5. She was followed by She's Not Bad (S Rusof) who ran similar times.

Military Step (O Bosson) and 3g Rock 'n' Pop - Pokuru Boxer (D Miller) galloped together over an easy 800 metres, running the final 600 in 40.5.

Fine Bouquet (S Rusof) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres, running the final 600 in 44.5.

All Weather:

Scottish Star (O Bosson) and 2g Rock 'n' Pop - Enhance (D Miller) worked at three quarter pace over 800 metres, running home in 44.

Ginger Too (O Bosson), Blinder (D Miller) and Baby Shark (C Burdan) all galloped nicely over an easy 600 metres, running home in 39.5.
