Course Proper:

Embellish (L Innes) and Duck Road (S Rusof) paired up to gallop over 1000 metres in 1.07.7, last 600 in 38.3. Embellish prepares to resume in the Open 1300 metres at Tauranga on Saturday while Duck Road heads down the line to contest the Maiden 1400 metres at New Plymouth on Friday. Also aiming toward the Maiden 1400 metres at New Plymouth on Friday, Enduring Love (N Bakar) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.15.3, quickening up in the straight to finish in 42.6.

Building toward the Rating 65 1600 metres at Ellerslie on Melbourne Cup day, King Kane (D Miller) galloped an easy 1000 metres in 1.11.

Qina Gua (S Rusof) worked at three quarter pace over 1200 metres in 1.34, last 600 in 45. Qian Gua readies for the Rating 72 1800 metres at New Plymouth on Friday.

Pinot Grey (S Rusof) and Meteoric Lass (N Bakar) galloped 1000 metres in 1.09, last 600 in 40. Pinot Grey aims toward resuming in the Rating 65 1200 metres at Awapuni on Saturday and last start winner Meteoric Lass prepares for the Rating 72 1300 metres at Tauranga on Saturday.

No.2 Sand:

Paulownia (N Bakar) looked good working on her own at three quarter pace over 800 metres in 1 minute.

Pinultimate (N Bakar) worked nicely at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.16, last 600 in 45.4. Winning impressively on debut, Pinultimate prepares to possibly race in the Rating 65 F&M 1200 metres at Otaki on 8 November.

Prise De Fer (D Miller) pleased when working at three quarter pace over 800 metres in 1 minute, last 600 in 43.7.

Chance To Dance (S Rusof) worked at three quarter pace over 800 metres, running home in 44.1. Encore Encore (L Miller) also worked over 800 metres, running home in similar time.

Lord High Spirit (C Leveque) galloped nicely over 800 metres in 57, last 600 in 41.

Working well, Beaumarchais (C Burdan) galloped over 800 metres, running the final 600 in 39.

Shebringsmerubies (S Rusof) and 3f Cape Blanco - My Fiancee (N Bakar) worked at three quarter pace over 800 metres in 59, last 600 in 43.5. They were followed by 3f Savabeel - Ampin (C Leveque) who ran very similar times.

Lady Jess (S Rusof) worked at three quarter pace over 800 metres, running the last 600 in 42.9.
