Te Akau track work highlights - Tuesday 6 November -


Plough:

Last start winner, Pinultimate (J Nason) aims toward racing at Otaki on Thursday and worked over 1000 metres at three quarter pace in 1.15.3, last 600 in 42.8.

Total Excess (D Miller) galloped over an easy 800 metres in 56.7, home in 42.1.

Melody Belle (L Miller) worked nicely at three quarter pace over 800 metres in 1.01, last 600 in 44.5.

Readying to resume at the races, Gris Dame (C Leveque) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.14, last 600 in 44.

Both horses preparing to race at Te Rapa on Saturday, Fabulous Flight (C Burdan) and She's Not Bad (N Bakar) galloped over 1000 metres in 1.05.3, home in 36.4.

Our Abbadean (J Nason) looked good having her first piece of three quarter pace work since returning, working over 800 metres in 58.9, last 600 in 44.

Mongolian Angel (N Bakar) and Pacific Coast (J Nason) paired up to gallop 1000 metres in 1.04.5, last 600 in 36.7. Both horses aim toward racing at Hastings this Sunday: Mongolian Angel will be nominated for the Maiden 1300 metres while Pacific Coast readies for the Rating 72 1200 metres.

Don'tblamethemusic (N Bakar) and Meteoric Lass (J Nason) galloped nicely over 1000 metres in 1.05, last 600 in 36.1. Don'tblamethemusic also aims toward racing at Hastings on Sunday and Meteoric Lass prepares to race at Te Rapa on Saturday.

Lord High Spirit (C Leveque) galloped nicely over 800 metres in 55.9, last 600 in 41.

Te Akau Dragon (R Alam) worked quietly over 800 metres in 58.6, home in 42.3.

Probabeel (N Bakar) and Mazzuro (D Miller) pleased when galloping 800 metres in 50.3, last 600 in 36.4. Probabeel prepares to make her race day debut in the 2YO 1000 metres at Te Rapa on Saturday.

 

Working out wide on the Course Proper yesterday (Monday) morning:

Preparing for the Group 2 Coupland's Bakeries Mile at Riccarton next Wednesday, Te Akau Shark (O Bosson - main picture) worked like a machine and certainly caught the eye when galloping 1200 metres in 1.17.9, last 600 in 37.6.

Readying for the Group 1 2000 Guineas at Riccarton this Saturday, Sword Of Osman (O Bosson) was comfortable in his work and galloped really nicely over 1200 metres in 1.21, home in 38.4.
