Course Proper:

With options to race this week, Te Akau Dragon (S Rusof) and Cicciolina (J Nason) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.14.7, last 600 in 43.2. Savy Yong Blonk (J Nason) and Lady Jess (S Rusof) galloped an easy 1000 metres in 1.12.5, home in 40.6. Together (D Miller) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.16.4, last 600 in 44.5.

Qian Gua (D Miller) prepares for the Rating 72 1600 metres at Matamata on Friday by galloping an easy 1000 metres in 1.11.3, last 600 in 40.5.

Our Abbadean (S Rusof) and Meteoric Lass (M Coleman) paired up to gallop a pleasing 1000 metres in 1.07.7, last 600 in 39.1. Our Abbadean is on track to race in the Group 1 Captain Cook Stakes (WFA, 1600m) at Trentham on Saturday while Meteoric Lass aims toward the Rating 72 1200 metres at Ellerslie, also on Saturday.

Pinot Grey (J Nason) worked solo at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.15, last 600 in 44.2.

Aotea Lad (S Rusof) and Byzantine (D Miller) galloped over 800 metres in 57.2, last 600 in 41.1. Aotea Lad aims toward a race day debut in the Group 2 Wakefield Challenge Stakes (2YO SW, 1200m) at Trentham on Saturday while Byzantine quietly builds up toward trialling mid- December.

Preparing to race at Matamata or Waipukurau, Elegant D'Oro (D Miller) worked nicely over an easy 1200 metres in 1.25.3, last 800 in 54.1. Also preparing to race at Matamata or Waipukurau, Gris Dame (J Nason) worked in company over 1200 metres in 1.23.1, last 600 in 40.

No. 2 Sand:

Mazzuro (D Miller), followed by Golden Age (J Stan), looked very good working at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.16, last 600 in 44.

Griffin (C Burdan) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.14.3, home in 43.5.
