Te Akau track work highlights - Tuesday 26 March -





Plough:





Lord High Spirit (R Hutchings) worked at three quarter pace over 1000
metres, quickening in the straight to run the final 600 in 41. After drawing
wide at Matamata, we hope for a better draw at Waipukurau on Thursday.





Al Haram (C Leveque) worked at three quarter pace over 1200 metres, running the
last 600 in 46. Al Haram readies to take on the Rating 72 2200 metres at
Waipukurau on Thursday.





Preparing to race at Waipukurau on Thursday, Jet Set (N Bakar)
worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.15, last 600 in 45.





Preparing for the $225,000 Group 1 Sires' Produce Stakes (2YO SW, 1400m) at Awapuni on Saturday, Yourdeel (O Bosson) and Equinox (D Miller) galloped nicely over 1000 metres in 1.03.4, last 600 in 36.4. They were followed by Boutonniere (A Jones), who ran very similar times.





On track to race at Waipukurau on Thursday, Not Usual Dream (D
Miller) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.13.5, home in 43.9.





Golden Age (O Bosson) galloped in company over 1200 metres,
running the last 1000 in 1.05, 600 in 37. Golden Age prepares for the $70,000
Group 3 Manawatu Classic (3YO SW, 2000m) at Awapuni on Saturday.





Confectionery (C Cole) worked on her own at three quarter pace over
600 metres in 46.





Laurentium (A Jones) and Challa (R Hutchings) worked separately
at three quarter pace over 600 metres in 45.





2g Darci Brahma - Shamardal Luck (D Miller) galloped over an
easy 600 metres in 39.
