Te Akau Tuesday Trackwork


Te Akau track work highlights - Tuesday 9 April -

Very thick fog prevented many times being taken.






Plough:





On track to race in the Rating 82 2200 metres at Te Rapa on Sunday, Wide Awake (M Grylls) worked nicely over 1200 metres. 





Also on track to race at Te Rapa on Sunday, Duck Road (A Collett) and Kingsguard (C Burdan) pleased when galloping over 1000 metres.





Star Of Bombay (A Jones) and Vicenza (D Montes de Oca) galloped over an easy 1000 metres and looked to be working though the line well. Both fillies aim toward racing in the 2YO event at Rotorua on Friday. 





Witchery (R Hutchings) and Quattro Katie (J Kamaruddin) worked together over 1000 metres. Witchery aims toward racing in the Rating 65 1400 metres at Rotorua on Friday and Quattro Katie prepares for the Rating 65 1200 metres at Te Rapa on Sunday. 





Racing at Rotorua on Friday, Beau Geste (D Miller) worked along quite nicely over 1200 metres.





Scottish Star (A Jones) worked nicely at three quarter pace over 1000 metres.





Louis Luck (C Burdan) worked on his own at three quarter pace over 800 metres. Irish Heart (R Hutchings) also worked on her own over an easy 800 metres.





On track to resume at Hastings on Saturday, Puysegur (R Huchings) and Icebomb (A Jones) galloped nicely over 1000 metres.





Racing at Rotorua on Friday, Jet Set (D Miller) and Enrichment (A Collett) galloped together over 1000 metres - Jet Set is due to race in the Maiden 1400 metres and Enrichment aims toward the 2YO event.





Pinultimate (J Kamaruddin) and companion paired up to gallop over 1000 metres. Pinultimate is pencilled in to race in the 3YO 1200 metres at Te Rapa on Sunday.
