Te Akau Tuesday Trackwork

Te Akau track work highlights - Tuesday 30 April -

Course Proper:

Preparing to race later in the week, Bak Da Master (D Miller) and Al Haram (M Grylls) galloped over 1200 metres in 1.24.9, last 600 in 40.2.

Race rivals Folk Dress (C Grylls) and Louis Luck (C Burdan) looked good galloping over 1000 metres in 1.07.8, home in 38.5. Folk Dress and Louis Luck build toward the $50,000 Listed 2YO event at Te Rapa on Saturday.

Preparing to possibly race at Te Rapa on Saturday, Byzantine (A Jones) galloped in company over 1000 metres in 1.05.6, final 600 in 38.8.

Burgundy Belle (A Jones) and Icebomb (J Kamarudin) galloped over 1000 metres in 1.05.9, last 600 in 39.

English Rose (A Jones) and Lady Zeraph (J Kamaruddin) galloped over 1200 metres in 1.25.4, home in 40.1. Both horses have options to race at Pukekohe on Friday, Te Rapa on Saturday or Trentham on Sunday. 

With options to race later in the week, Willpower (C Burdan) and Qian Gua (D Miller) galloped nicely over 1000 metres. 

No.2 Sand:

Te Akau Dragon (C Burdan) worked solo at three quarter pace over 1000 metres, last 600 in 46.

So You Said (D Montes de Oca) galloped over an easy 1000 metres in 1.12.8, home in 41. He was followed by Pinultimate (J Kamaruddin) who worked nicely at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.15.7, home in 44.

Spirit Of Galway (A Jones) was followed by Shebringsmerubies (M Grylls) when working at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.15, home in 44.5

Cicciolina (C Leveque) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.16, home in 45.

Tweet (A Jones) worked on her own over an easy 1000 metres in 1.12, final 600 in 41.

Summer Monsoon (C Burdan) worked along nicely at three quarter pace over 800 metres, home in 46.

Cavort (A Jones) and 3f Rip Van Winkle - Surooh (J Kamaruddin) paired up to gallop over an easy 800 metres in 56.

Miss Hepburn (M Grylls) worked along quietly at three quarter pace over 800 metres.  

Jakkabella (J Kamaruddin) and Grand Ariana (A Jones) galloped over an easy 800 metres in 56.7, last 600 in 40.4.
