Preparing to resume in the 3YO 1400 metres on Saturday at Te Rapa, Wolfwhistle (Misbah) in company with Davey Crockett (Hercock), who makes his debut over 1200 metres at the same meeting, worked over 1200 metres in 1:17.8, 1000m in 1:02.6, last 600m in 36.5.

Sir Darci (Colgan) and Sovereign Rose (Miller) covered 1200 metres in 1:17.8, 1000m in 1:02.8, 600m in 36.1. Milan Miss (Hercock) and Quintette (Misbah) went over 1000 metres in 1:06.8, last 600m in 37.9. Duran (Misbah) and Virtuous (Misbah) worked over 800 metres in 53.1, last 600m in 37.9. Appellation (Miller) and Brochaine (Richards) clocked 55 for the 800 metres and 40.1 the final 600m. Astrid (Misbah) and Bon Marche (Hercock) covered 800 metres in 53.2, last 600m in 38.2. Auriol (Richards) in company with Frock (Miller) went 800 metres in 53.1, last 600m in 38.4. Sunset Pass (Myers) cut out 1200 metres in 1:20.9, last 600m in 37.4.

Three-quarter pace over 800 metres:

Bordeaux (Richards) and Zarules (Miller), 2 c Keeper - Le Tebaldi (Hercock) and Cathedral Cove (Misbah), 2 g Keeper - Romanee St. Vivant (Miller) and 4 g Darci Brahma - Royal Rhythm (Hercock), Natalie (Hercock) and Darci's Dream (Richards).
