Te Akau trackwork highlights - Tuesday 27 August -





 





Course Proper: reverse direction





Equinox (O Bosson) and Shoshone galloped over 1000 metres in 1.07.3, last 600 in 36.8. Equinox is flying and remains on track to race in the Listed El Roca - Sir Colin Meads Trophy (3YO SW+P, 1200m) at Hastings on Saturday.





Byzantine (O Bosson) and In A Twinkling (C Burdan) galloped over 1000 metres, last 600 in 40.3, final 200 in 13.9. Both horses are due to resume at Ruakaka on Saturday.





Avantage (S Weatherley) and Melody Belle (M McNab) galloped over 1000 metres, last 600 in 38.5, home in 12.2. Avantage resumes in the Open 1200 metres at Ruakaka on Saturday, while Melody Belle heads to Hastings for the Group 1 Tarzino Trophy (WFA, 1400m).





Remington (O Bosson) and Meteoric Lass (M McNab) galloped over 1000 metres, last 600 in 39.7. Meteoric Lass has options at both Hastings and Ruakaka on Saturday. 









No.2 Sand: 





Sizzler (D Montes de Oca) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres, last 600 in 44.8. Duck Road (M McNab) also worked over 1000 metres and ran home in similar time. 





Ripley (M Roustoby) worked nicely at three quarter pace over 1000 metres, home in 43. Excitonic (O Bosson) also looked good working over 1000 metres, running the last 600 in similar time. 





Prise De Fer (O Bosson) looked good working at three quarter pace over 1000 metres, last 600 in 42.





Ocean Star (M Roustoby) galloped on his own over an easy 800 metres, last 600 in 39.





Kylie Bax (C Grylls) was followed by Double Expresso(D Montes de Oca) when working at three quarter pace over 800 metres, home in 44.





Weaponry (C Thornton) galloped over an easy 800 metres in 57, final 600 in 42. He was followed by Swing Note (M Roustoby) who ran similar times. 





Witchery (T Harris) galloped over an easy 800 metres, home in 39.





3f Tavistock - Marcey's Belt (O Bosson) and 3f Niagara - My Secret (M McNab) paired up to work over an easy 800 metres, last 600 in 40.
