Te Akau trackwork highlights - Tuesday 8 October -

Course Proper: 

Soon to be race rivals, Burgundy Belle (T Harris) and She's Not Bad (J Kamaruddin) galloped over 1000 metres in 1.09, last 600 in 38.5. Both mares ready for the Rating 82 1200 metres at Matamata on Saturday.  

Mongolianconqueror (O Bosson) and In A Twinkling (M McNab) galloped over 1200 metres, last 1000 in 1.06.5, final 600 in 38.8. Mongolianconqueror will race in the Matamata Cup while In A Twinkling races in the Egmont Cup on Saturday. 

On track to race at Matamata or Hawera on Saturday, Shezathinka (O Bosson) and Shebringsmerubies (M McNab) galloped over 1200 metres in 1.22.7, last 600 in 39.2.

Rhapsody In Blue (M McNab) and companion galloped over 1000 metres in 1.06, home in 38.3. Rhapsody In Blue has options at both Matamata and Hawera. 

Preparing for the Rating 82 2000 metres at Matamata, Luminous (T Harris) galloped over 1200 metres in 1.23.7, last 1000 in 1.07.4.

Also racing at Matamata or Hawera on Saturday, Equinox (O Bosson) and Leaderboard (M McNab), Don'tblamethemusic (O Bosson) and Duck Road (M McNab) galloped in pairs over 1000 metres - fog prevented times being taken.

No.2 Sand:

Ristretto (A Jones) was followed by Ripley (M McNab) when working at three quarter pace over 1000 metres, home in 42.

Byzantine (C Burdan) galloped over an easy 800 metres in 56.5, last 600 in 40.8.

Scott Base (O Bosson) galloped over an easy 800 metres in 58, home in 41.

Pokuru's Gift (M Roustoby) worked at three quarter pace over 800 metres, home in 43. 

Lightning Field (A Jones), Diamond Dream (J Kamaruddin) and Man Oh Man (C Leveque) worked (separately) at three quarter pace over 1000 metres, last 600 in 45. 

Red Jakkal (C Burdan) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres, home in 44.

Baby Shark (O Bosson) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.15, home in 45. He was followed by Oceans Eight (M Roustoby) who ran similar times. 

Enrichment (C Grylls) and Rakuten (M McNab) galloped over an easy 800 metres in 52, home in 38.

Aromatic (A Jones) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.13, final 600 in 43.

Spirit Of Gold (M Roustoby) and Vino Bella (A Jones) worked (separately) at three quarter pace over 800 metres, running the last 600 in 45.

Willpower (M McNab), Twilight Zone (C Burdan) and Ginger Too (O Bosson) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres, final 600 in 45.

3f Rock 'n' Pop - Primo Quest (M Roustoby) and Crimson Star (A Jones) galloped over an easy 800 metres in 55.2, last 600 in 39.5.

3f Savabeel - Banchee (S Weatherley) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres, home in 45.

Vamos Bebe (T Harris) worked nicely at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.14, last 600 in 44.7.

Cool Aza Beel (C Burdan) galloped over an easy 600 metres in 38.

All Weather:

Bordeaux Le Rouge (M Roustoby) and 2c Bull Point - Dollhouse (J Kamaruddin) galloped over an easy 600 metres in 40. They were followed by 2f Proisir - La Chiflota (A Jones).
