Te Akau trackwork highlights - Tuesday 22 October -

Course Proper: 

Last start winner and building toward the $25,000 3YO SW+P 1200 metres at Wellington on Saturday - Burgundy Rose (A Jones) galloped in company over 1000 metres in 1.09.4, home in 38.8. 

Cool Aza Beel (T Harris) and Press Baron (M McNab) galloped over 800 metres in 54.8, last 600 in 39.4. Cool Aza Beel is on track to race in the $50,000 Listed Wellesley Stakes 2YO SW 1000 metres at Trentham on Saturday, while Press Baron looks to make his debut in the $22,500 2YO SW+P 880 metres at Ellerslie.  

Aiming toward the Rating 65 1400 metres at Tauranga on Friday, Ripley (M Roustoby) galloped solo over 1000 metres in 1.09, last 600 in 38.8.

Savy Yong Blonk (T Harris) and Mazzuro (M McNab) paired up to gallop over 1200 metres in 1.22, home in 39.6. Savy Yong Blonk has options at both Ellerslie on Saturday and Te Rapa on Monday, while Mazzuro will race at Te Rapa.

Preparing to race at Woodville on Thursday or Tauranga on Friday, Meteoric Lass (M Roustoby) galloped over 1000 metres in 1.08.5, home in 38.9.

Te Akau Dragon (M McNab) and Byzantine (C Burdan) galloped over 1000 metres in 1.07.5, last 600 in 39.6. Both horses ready to race at Tauranga on Friday. 

In A Twinkling (M McNab) galloped over an easy 1200 metres in 1.22, final 600 in 41.2. He was followed by Mongolianconqueror (C Burdan) who galloped over an easy 1000 metres in 1.07.6, home in 40.5.

No.2 Sand:

Man Oh Man (M Roustoby) galloped over an easy 1000 metres in 1.10, home in 40.

Hierarchy (A Jones) and Accalia (M Roustoby) galloped (separately) over 1000 metres in 1.09, last 600 in 39.

Military Step (C Burdan) worked at three quarter pace over 1200 metres in 1.30.7, last 600 in 42.5.

Kylie Bax (A Handley) galloped over an easy 1000 metres in 1.08, last 600 in 39.

Vino Bella (A Jones) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres, running the last 600 in 43.

Swing Note (T Harris) was followed by Shezathinka (J Kamaruddin) when galloping over 1200 metres in 1.24, final 600 in 38. Prise De Fer (M McNab) also galloped over 1200 metres and ran very similar times. 

Shebringsmerubies (C Burdan) galloped over an easy 1000 metres, home in 40.

Qiji Olympia (A Jones) galloped over an easy 1000 metres in 1.11, final 600 in 40.5. Vamos Bebe (T Harris) also worked over 1000 metres, running similar times. 

Weaponry (M McNab) worked over an easy 1000 metres in 1.13, home in 42. He was followed by Ocean Star (C Burdan) who ran similar times. 

Oceans Eight (M Roustoby) galloped over an easy 1000 metres in 1.07.4, final 600 in 38.6. Ristretto (M Roustoby) also worked over 1000 metres and ran similar times. 

Witchery (J Kamaruddin) worked on her own at three quarter pace over 800 metres in 1.01, last 600 in 45.

Ginger Too (M McNab) worked on his own at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.15.9, home in 45.7.

Get Hitched (T Harris) and Puysegur (J Kamaruddin) worked (separately) at three quarter pace over 800 metres, running similar times of 59, home in 44.

Dizzibella (T Harris) and Edit (A Jones) galloped over an easy 600 metres in 41.8.
