Te Akau trackwork highlights – Tuesday 30 June


Course Proper:

Charmaine’s Dream (O Bosson) and Brymaar (D Montes de Oca) galloped over an easy 800 metres in 56.8, last 600 in 41.1.

Shebringsmerubies (J Kamaruddin) and O’Pristine (H Durant) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.16, quickening in the straight to finish in 42.

Quattro Katie (C Burdan) and Vino Bella (A Jones) galloped over an easy 800 metres in 56.3, home in 41.4.

Al Haram (M Grylls) and Bak Da Master (M Roustoby) galloped over 1200 metres in 1.22.5, last 600 in 41.7. They were followed by Richard Of Yorke (C Thornton) who ran similar times. 

Man Oh Man (H Durant) and Rhapsody In Blue (C Burdan), O’Connor (O Bosson) and Cicciolina (D Montes de Oca) galloped in pairs over an easy 1000 metres in 1.10.5, last 600 in 41.5.

Messing (O Bosson) galloped nicely in company over an easy 1000 metres in 1.10.5, home in 41.9.


No.2 Sand:

Ginger Too (O Bosson) galloped over an easy 800 metres in 56, home in 41.

Mazzuro (C Burdan) galloped over an easy 800 metres in 55, last 600 in 40.

Lilikoi (M Roustoby) worked along at three quarter pace over 800 metres in 1 minute.  

Avantage (J Kamaruddin) was followed by Savy Yong Blonk (H Durant) when working at three quarter pace over 800 metres in 58, home in 44.

Harlow (A Jones) and Remington (M Grylls) galloped over an easy 800 metres in 54, final 600 in 39.

Fashion Shoot (D Montes de OCa), Seajetz (C Thornton) and Vitani (R Cole) worked at three quarter pace over 800 metres, last 600 in 44.5.

Sizzler (M Roustoby) galloped over an easy 800 metres in 56, home in 42.

Burgundy Belle (J Kamaruddin) and Luminous (H Durant) looked good working at three quarter pace over 800 metres in 1.02, last 600 in 46. Lethal (D Montes de Oca) also worked over 800 metres and ran similar times. 

Miss Aotearoa (A Jones) worked along at three quarter pace, running the last 600 in 43.3. She was followed by Ocean Belle (F Griffiths) who ran similar time. 

Baby Shark (O Bosson) worked nicely over an easy 800 metres in 57.7, home in 42.

Khafeef (S Pillay) worked at three quarter pace over 800 metres in 1.02, last 600 in 44.5.

Summer Monsoon (C Burdan) galloped over an easy 800 metres in 55.6, final 600 in 40.9.

Darci’s Rose (M Roustoby), Markus Aurelius (O Bosson), Super Sid (S Pillay) and Spirit Of Galway (F Griffiths) worked (separately) at three quarter pace over 800 metres, running the last 600 in 45. 

In single file, Vamos Bebe (H Durant) and Romantic Lady (J Kamaruddin) worked at three quarter pace over 800 metres in 1.02, home in 46.

The Panther (C Burdan) worked at three quarter pace over 800 metres, last 600 in 45. He was followed by 2g Headwater – Noanoa (S Pillay) who ran similar time.

Te Akau Ben (C Burdan) was followed by Perfect Scenario (S Pillay) and Rip Van Gogh (O Bosson) when working at three quarter pace over 800 metres, running the last 600 in 46. 


All Weather:

Age Of Fire (O Bosson), Image Of You (A Jones), Duby (F Griffiths), Exaltation (J Kamaruddin) and Festivity (H Durant) all worked along at three quarter pace over 800 metres, running the last 600 in 44.
