Te Akau trackwork highlights - Tuesday 18 August -  

Course Proper:

Romantic Lady (T Harris) galloped in company over 1000 metres in 1.06, last 600 in 36.9. Romantic Lady aims toward possibly racing at Matamata on Saturday. 

All three preparing to race in the Maiden Hurdles at Awapuni or Te Aroha this weekend; Al Haram(M Grylls) and Bak Da Master (M Roustoby) worked over 1600 metres, running 1200m in 120.98, final 600 in 39. They were followed by Richard Of Yorke (D Montes de Oca) who ran similar times.

No.2 Sand:

Xplosion (M Grylls) and Zouluminous (H Durrant) galloped over an easy 800 metres in 56.5, last 600 in 40.6.

Rip Van Gogh (O Bosson) galloped over an easy 800 metres in 55.8, last 600 in 41.4. He was followed by Aromatic (C Burdan) who worked at three quarter pace over 800 metres in 1.01, last 600 in 44.

Vino Bella (F Griffiths) worked at three quarter pace over 800 metres in 1.01, home in 45.

Star Of Bombay (M Grylls) worked at three quarter pace over 800 metres in 58, home in 43. She was followed by 3f Power - Game Duchess (H Durrant) who ran 1 minute, last 600 in 44.5.

Military Step (O Bosson) galloped over an easy 800 metres in 56.7, home in 41.2. Vicenza (C Burdan) also worked over an easy 800 metres and ran similar times. 

Oceans Eight (C Burdan) worked at three quarter pace over 800 metres in 59.5, last 600 in 44.5. 

Amarelinha (J Kamaruddin) and Press Baron (T Harris) galloped over an easy 800 metres in 57, final 600 in 41. They were followed by Rhapsody In Blue (D Montes de Oca) who ran similar times. 

Mai Tai (H Durrant) and Harlow (C Burdan) galloped (separately) over an easy 800 metres in 55.5, home in 40.1. 

Ready For This (M Roustoby) and Challa (R Cole) galloped over an easy 800 metres in 56, final 600 in 40.5.

In A Twinkling (O Bosson) looked good galloping over an easy 1000 metres in 1.10, last 600 in 42. 

Charmaine's Dream (T Harris) galloped over an easy 800 metres in 57.6, final 600 in 42.5.

Burgundy Belle (J Kamaruddin) and Kathies Choice (A Greene) worked at three quarter pace over 800 metres in 1 minute, last 600 in 45.2. Hot Off The Press (F Griffiths) also worked at three quarter pace over 800 metres, and ran home in 44. 

Ginger Too (D Montes de Oca) and She's Not Bad (M Roustoby) worked at three quarter pace over 800 metres in 1.02, home in 46.

4g Shamoline Warrior - Baldaque (D Montes de Oca) and Scottish Star (M Roustoby) galloped over an easy 800 metres in 56.6, last 600 in 40.2. 

All Weather:

Spirit Of Gold (T Harris) worked at three quarter pace over 800 metres in 58, last 600 in 43. He was followed by 3f Tavistock - Meleka Belle (J Kamaruddin) who ran similar times. 

Excitonic (M Roustoby) and Fabulous Fight (M Grylls) galloped over an easy 800 metres in 53.3, home in 39.3. They were followed by Wicked Pony (D Montes de Oca) who worked at three quarter pace over 800 metres, last 600 in 46. 

Reigning Cash (C Burdan) worked at three quarter pace over 800 metres in 1 minute, last 600 in 45.2. 

Kensington Track - Randwick NSW:

Melody Belle (K McEvoy) and Probabeel (S Clipperton) galloped over 1000 metres, running the last 800 in 50.78, final 400 in 24.13. Melody Belle prepares for the Group 1 Winx Stakes at Randwick on Saturday, while Probabeel is set to resume in the Group 3 Show County Quality.
