Te Akau track work highlights Tuesday May 27 -

Course proper (Heavy):
With separate assignments this Queen's Birthday weekend, Clos De Tart (Hercock - pictured left below) and Quintette (Misbah - pictured right below) worked over 1200 metres in 1:24 and last 600m in 39.9. Last start winner Clos De Tart (Darci Brahma) will be nominated today for the Benchmark 75 1400 metres on Saturday at Ellerslie and Quintette (Alamosa) the Benchmark 65 1340 metres at Wanganui.

Sand track:
Also scheduled for Wanganui, in the Benchmark 85 1340 metres, Rapid Gain (Misbah) worked over 1000 metres in 1:09, last 600m in 39.4.

Three-quarter pace on the sand track:
All Decked Out (Miller) worked solo over 800 metres, Fast Fiction (Hercock) 800m, Super Power (Richards) 800m, My Fiancée (Hercock) and 2 f Darci Brahma - Tristraad (Samuelsson) 800m, Sneaky Feelings (Hercock) 1200m, Enhance (Myers) 800m, 2 f Red Giant - Mantles Princess (Hercock) 800m.

Imperium (Misbah) worked over 800 metres at three-quarter pace on the two-year-old grass track.

Dual stakes' winner Spellbinder (O'Reilly) has recently returned to training and looked terrific when pace working with Davey Ellis aboard.
