Te Akau track work highlights from Tuesday June 3

Course proper (Heavy):

Preparing to race on Saturday at Te Rapa, impressive last start winner Merrily (Hercock) went over 1000 metres in 1:07, 800m in 52.8, last 600m 38.2. Having won by nearly five lengths over 1400 metres at Hastings, Merrily (O'Reilly) remains at the same distance and steps up to Benchmark 65 grade.

Also a last start winner at Hastings, Show No Emotion (Cameron) was partnered by race rival Prospero (Hercock) over 1200 metres in 1:25, 800m in 55 and last 600m in 40.2. Prospero (High Chaparral) and Show No Emotion (Pins) are set to contest the Benchmark 75 1600 metres.

Course winner Enhance (Hercock), having her second up outing in the Benchmark 65 1400 metres at Te Rapa, worked with Got The Snitz (Cameron), scheduled for the 2YO 1200 metres, went over 1000 metres in 1:11, last 600m in 41.5.

Working at three-quarter pace, Redoute's Chance (Hercock) and 3 g King's Chapel - Sea Rhythm (Miller) went 800 metres.
