Te Akau track work highlights - Tuesday July 15 -

Course proper (Heavy):

King's Rock (Miller) and Spellbinder (Cameron) were held together when galloping 800 metres in 1:06, last 600m in 44.3. Secret Whisper (Cameron - pictured below left) and Sneaky Feelings (A. Jones - pictured below right) covered 1200 metres in 1:24.7, 600m in 40.8.

Two-Year-Old Grass track (Slow):

Scandinavian (Miller) worked over 800 metres in 53, last 600m in 38. Prince Henry (Miller) was followed by Bon Marche (Roff - main picture) over 800m in 59, last 600m in 43.

Flaming (Hercock) and Vive La Difference (Cameron - pictured below) covered 800m in 58.1, last 600m in 41.8. Duran (Richards) and Frock (Allen) went 800m in 59, last 600m in 43.2. Imperium (Richards) worked solo over 800 metres in 57.2, last 600m 42.1, as did Smashing (Cameron) in 58.3 for the 800m and last 600m in 42.5.

Madame Jamai (Hercock) went solo over 800 metres in 58.3, last 600m in 42.7. Bordeaux (Richards), Rockfast (Miller) and Zarules (Allen) worked over 800m in 56.3, last 600m in 40.4. Astrid (Cameron - pictured below), Rock ‘N' Sox (Hercock) and Virtuous (Roff) went 800m in 57.9, last 600m in 42.5.

Light Source (Roff) and 2 f Minstrel Court - La Conga (Miller) covered 800m in 56.5, last 600m in 41.7. Bettorock (Hercock) and Irish Mystic (Cameron) went 800m in 58.7, last 600m in 43.

Sand track:

Abidewithme (Hercock) and Chambord (Miller) galloped 800m in 58, last 600m in 42.2. Osmunda (Roff) and Sir Darci (Hercock) worked over 800 metres in 57.5, last 600m in 41.7. All Decked Out (Cameron) went over 1000 metres at three-quarter pace. Jewels Gift (Cameron) worked over 800 metres at three-quarter pace. Davey Ellis rode Atua and Wolfwhistle in trot and canter work.
