Te Akau Tuesday Trackwork

Te Akau track work highlights - Tuesday August 26 - before the team sets off to the Te Teko trials!

Course proper (Slow):

Chambord (Cameron) and Spellbinder (Hercock) worked over 1200 metres in 1:20.7, 1000m in 1:05, and the final 600m in 36.8. Depending on track conditions, Chambord (Zabeel) is set to resume in the Benchmark 85 1200 metres on Saturday at Hastings. Spellbinder (O'Reilly) is eyeing a start over 1400 metres on Saturday Sept. 6 at Ellerslie.

Sand track:

Costa Viva (Miller) galloped solo over 1000 metres in 1:11.05 and the last 600m in 41.5. Enhance (Cameron) worked over 1000m in 1:12.9, last 600m in 41.8. Tiara (Hercock) covered 1000m in 1:10.1, last 600m in 40.3.

Three-quarter pace on the sand track:

King's Rock (Allen) worked solo over 1400 metres. Imperium (Allen) and Rapid Gain (Cameron) were paired over 1000m.
