Te Akau track work highlights - Tuesday September 16 -

Course proper (Slow):

Flaming (Cameron) and Longbeach (Lammas) worked together over 1200 metres in 1:24.9, 1000m in 1:09.5 and the last 600m in 39.2. They each hold a nomination to race on Saturday at Hastings: Flaming (Bachelor Duke) in the Gold Trail Stakes (Gr. 3, 1200m) for three-year-old fillies and Longbeach (Fastnet Rock) in the Benchmark 65 1400 metres.

Sand track:

Wolfwhistle (Allen) worked solo over 1400 metres. He covered the final 1200m in 1:24.5 and the 600m in 40.5. Bordeaux (Cameron) and 4 g Savabeel - Greensleeves (Lammas) galloped together over 1200m in 1:26.6, last 600m in 39.8.

Sand track, three-quarter pace:

Smashing (Cameron) worked solo over 800 metres. Giana (Samuelsson) and 3 f Tavistock - Macchiato (Miller) were paired together over 800m. Highly Likely (Richards) went 1400m. Realize (Zainal) and 3 f Encosta De Lago - Grand Echezeaux (Hercock) went 800m. 3 f Postponed - Promissory (Allen) and 3 f Red Giant - Mantle's Princess (Samuelsson) went 1000m.

Two-year-old grass track, three-quarter pace over 600 metres:

2 f Lookin' at Lucky - Highland Lights (Cameron) and 2 f Starcraft - Absolute Faith (Zainal) went together over 600m at three-quarter pace. Xtravagant (Cameron) and 2 c O'Reilly - Suream (Miller) did similar work, as did Lady Pinot (Samuelsson) and 2 f Thorn Park - Squall (Hercock).
