Te Akau track work Tuesday December 16 - attended by David and Julia-Rose!!

Course proper (Dead):

Longbeach (Hercock) and Sonsy (Cameron) got into their work from the 1400 metres. They ran the 1200m in 1:20.1, last 600m in 37.9. Second and fourth respectively last start: Longbeach (Fastnet Rock) will be nominated to race over 2100 metres on Saturday at Te Rapa, and Sonsy (Thorn Park) is eyeing a start over a mile next Monday at New Plymouth.

Tiara (Hercock) also worked over ground to cover the 1200m in 1:20.3, last 600m 37.5.

Sand track:

Angelica Hall (Miller) worked solo over 800 metres in 57.5, last 600m in 42. Spellbinder (Hercock) went 800m in 1:01.4, last 600m in 43.1. Cathedral Cove (Hercock) covered 800m in 58.2, last 600m in 43.2. Arpeggio (Cameron) and Zarules (Hercock) went together over 800m in 57.6, last 600m in 41.9. Light Source (Hercock) 1000m, Frock (Cameron) and 3 g Saperavi - Eclectic Heights (Zainal) 800m.

Three-quarter pace on the sand track:

Smashing (Samuelsson) worked solo over 800m, as did Darci's Dream (Miller) 800m and Rockfast (Richards) 800m.
