Te Akau track work highlights - Tuesday 21 April -

Course proper (Heavy):

Rockfast (Lammas) and Highly Likely (Hercock) worked over 1400 metres. They ran the 1200m in 1:25.3, last 600m in 39.5, with the markers out 28 metres. Rockfast (Fastnet Rock) is scheduled to resume in the 3YO 1600 metres on Saturday at Te Rapa, and Highly Likely (High Chaparral) is gearing up for the Rating 75 2100 metres on Wednesday May 6 at Matamata.

Two-year-old grass track:

Linchpin (Zac-Syed) and 2 g No Excuse Needed - Reputedly (Lammas) worked together over 800m in 57.3, last 600m in 40.9.

Fastnet Fire (Hercock) and O'Know (Roff) covered 800m in 55.9, last 600m in 39.6.

Lady Pinot (Lammas) and 2 f Saperavi - Paraiba (Zac-Syed) went 800m in 55.6, last 600m in 40.2.

2 f High Chaparral - Star Affair (Hercock) and 2 f Minstrel Court - Paixanito (Roff) worked over 800m in 56.7, last 600m in 40.6.

Butch Cassidy (Roff) and Forty Winks (Hercock) ran 800m in 55.8, last 600m in 40.5.

Bishop Rock (Zac-Syed) and Rocksun (Lammas) covered 800m in 55.3, last 600m in 39.9.

Sand track:

Highly Likely (Roff) and Osmunda (Davidson) worked together over 1600m. They ran the 1200m in 1:24.8, last 600m 40.4.

Three-quarter pace on the sand track:
