Te Akau track work highlights Tuesday 12 May -

Course proper (Slow):

Preparing to race on Saturday at Te Rapa, Arpeggio (Lammas) and Sir Darci (Cameron) worked together over 1000m in 1:11.5 and the last 600m in 39. Both riders were pleased by their work. Arpeggio (Tavistock) resumes in the 3YO 1200 metres and Sir Darci (Darci Brahma) contests the Rating 85 1200 metres.

Sand track:

Scandinavian (Miller) worked at three-quarter pace over 1000m in 1:13, last 600m in 43.5. Bordeaux (Hercock) did similar work in 1:13 and 44. Latin Rose (Miller) went 1000m in 1:14, last 600m in 43. Opulent (Lammas) ran 1000m (no time), but the rider was happy and reported her to feel good and work keenly.
