Te Akau track work highlights Tuesday 16 June -

Course proper (Heavy):

Highly Likely (Lammas) and Tavis Star (Hercock) worked together over 1600m. They ran the 1200m in 1:23, final 600m in 40.9, and have each been nominated for the Rating 75 2100 metres on Saturday at Tauranga.

All-weather track:

Ocean Rock (Rastrick) and 1 g Darci Brahma - Spin ‘n Grin (Winter) did things professionally when working together over 400m at half-pace against the rail.  1 f Savabeel - Modern Lady (Roff) and 1 f Smart Missile - Panorama Ridge (Price) also went very well together in similar work, as did Il Piu Veloce (Hercock) and 1 f Iffraaj - Lady Sakura (Miller). Co-trainer Stephen Autridge made the comment that all of the yearlings impressed in their work and show good manners.
