Te Akau track work highlights - Tuesday 23 June -

Course proper (Heavy):

Opulent (Lammas) looked good when working in company over 1000 metres 1:09, last 600m in 40.5 Second and third, respectively, when without any favours recently at Ruakaka, Opulent (Keeper) has been nominated for the Maiden 1600 metres at the same venue this Saturday.

All-weather track, three-quarter pace:

Splurge (Richards) was trailed in his work by Vive La Difference (Gomas) over 800m. Scrutinize (Rastrick) went 800m, trailed by Xtravagant (Richards).

Court Case (Rastrick) was followed by 2 g Paco Boy - L'accord (Richards) over 800m in 1:01, and 46 for the last 600m.

Interstellar (Gomas) went over 800m in 55.6, last 600m in 40.3. Gardenier (Lammas) worked quietly over 800m in 1:04, last 600m in 47.

Zambezi Warrior (Roff) was followed by Spritz (Zac-Syed) over 800m in 1:06, last 600m in 48.

Vintage Verdot (Rastrick) and Royal Success (Richards) went together over 800m.

Sand track, three-quarter pace: 

Second last Wednesday at Te Teko, and nominated for the Maiden 3YO 1200 metres this Saturday at Ruakaka, Scandinavian (Zac-Syed) worked comfortably over 1000m in 1:11 and the last 600m in 40.

Special Memories (Roff) was tracked in her work by Love Actually (Miller) over 800m in 1:02, last 600m in 46.

Bon Marche (Hercock) was followed by Bettorock (Zac-Syed) over 1000m. Skyscraper (Lammas) went 1000m solo, as did Prince Henry (Lammas) when clocking 1:18 and 46 for the 1000m.

Hushed (Miller) was followed in his work by 3 f El Hermano - Santiga Lass (Hanafi) over 800m in 58, last 600m in 43.

Christine Louise (Hercock) and Coincidence (Fawcett) went and easy 800m together.

Stakes' winning two-year-old Windborne (Hercock) looked terrific when working over 800m 58, last 600m in 43, tracked along by Princess Davone (Fawcett).

2 g Postponed - Promissory (Rastrick) was followed by 2 g Sakhee's Secret - Spin ‘n Grin (Richards) over 800m in 60, last 600m in 45.4.

Niamh Elizabeth (Lammas) went an easy 800m with 2 f Showcasing - Louders (Roff) in 47.
