Te Akau track work highlights - Tuesday 30 June - 

Three-quarter pace, sand track:

Splurge (Richards) and Xtravagant (Lammas) each impressed their riders in solo work over 800 metres. 2 g Postponed - Promissory (Ritchie) and 2 g Sakhee's Secret - Spin ‘n Grin (Rastrick) worked together over 800m, Vintage Verdot (Richards) looked good in his work over 800m, Royal Success (Richards) went to time over 800m and appears to be shaping nicely.

Castletown Stakes (Listed, 1200m) winner Stella Di Paco (Lammas - pictured winning her stakes' race) worked over 1000m in 1:13.6, last 600m in 43.4, and looked to be enjoying it.

All-weather track, three-quarter pace: 

Beacon of Hope (Grylls) did his first piece of faster work, striding along freely over 800m.
