Te Akau track work highlights Tuesday 18 August - 

Sand track:

Gardenier (K. Price) worked to time at three-quarter pace over 800m in 1.00, last 600m in 45. Our Abbadean (Miller) worked quietly over 800m. Flirty Gertey (Fawcett) was nicely balanced in her gallop over 800m in 1:01, last 600m in 44. Bishop Rock (Richards) looked good over 800m in 1:01, last 600m in 45. Silverdale (Cameron) produced nice work over 800m in 58, and snuck home in 42. Madame Jamai (Cameron) worked to time over 800m three-quarter. Show No Emotion (Hercock) worked a quiet 800m late in the session.

More than Fast (Ritchie) and Linchpin (Cameron) both looked good when posting 57 for 800m, last 600m in 43. Grazia (Cameron) and Our Drahma Queen (Lammas) went 800m in 58, last 600m in 42.5.

Ekraarstatic (Hercock) and Imperium (K. Price) went an easy 1000m in 1:14, last 600m in 40, and both enjoyed their work. Duchess Kate (Hercock) and Stella Di Paco (Lammas) clocked 1:11 for 1000m, coming home in 40 for the last 600m.

Vive La Difference (Lammas) worked over 1200m. She ran the 1000m in 1:05.4, last 600m in 37.7.

Astrid (Gomas) and Fas (Zac-Syed) worked together over 600m at three-quarter pace. Carmenize (Hanafi) and Forty Winks (Zac-Syed) went 800m three-quarter, as did Spritz (Zac-Syed). Promosso (Cameron) was followed by 2 f Encosta De Lago - Chasing Mammon (R. Jones) over 800m three-quarter.

Red Poppy (Hanafi) worked to time over 800m in 1:00, last 600m in 44.8.

Sylvia's Special (Hanafi), Lady Jasmine (Miller) and 2 f Alamosa - Zorina (K. Price) worked as a trio over 600m in 40, all working well. 2 g Darci Brahma - Obsession (Hanafi) and 2 g Darci Brahma - Spin ‘n Grin (Gomas) did similar work.

Stolen Love (Hanafi), 2 f High Chaparral - Dancing Forever (K. Price), 2 f Medaglia D'oro - Seduced (Zac-Syed) and 2 f Redwood - Volks Princess (Fawcett) worked twice up the straight at half-pace.
