Te Akau Tuesday Update
David writes:

I have just finished a busy day of looking at horses at the Karaka Sales' complex and gee I must say this is the best bunch of horses I have ever seen at a Ready to Run sale.  All credit to the vendors and New Zealand Bloodstock for putting such a quality catalogue of horses together for the sale.

It is my prediction that there will be some really good racehorses that come out of this sale.

I have bought Group 1 winners Gingernuts and Hall of Fame, as well as Te Akau Shark out of this sale and there will be more of those types of horses here.

If you don't believe me come out and have a look with me tomorrow...

Speaking of Te Akau Shark, it's great news that he has arrived back from the South Island safely.  He has been fully examined by our veterinary surgeon Dr Douglas Black today who reports "Sharkie" is in good order and he will arrive at Te Akau Stud tomorrow for a well deserved break. He will have about three weeks in the paddock and then be readied for possible tilt at the newly announced $5 million dollar mile in Melbourne.

So there is plenty happening at Te Akau but for the remainder of this week, it is all about the Ready to Run Sale.  I am confident that thanks to the Minister for Racing, stake money will double in the next 18 months so now is a unique time to invest in this great industry.

If you would like to join us at the sales in the next couple of days you would be very welcome, just give me a call - and if you want to join our priority list for the first option to secure shares in these new horses, email Karyn now [email protected]
