Te Akau TV - G1 Weekend Preview

Welcome back into Te Akau TV where we are fired up for a Group One weekend in Wellington! Premiership leading trainer Jamie Richards joins Louis Herman-Watt as they break down each of our runners this weekend and take stock of some new additions to the Te Akau Racing family too.

Before we get to Group One festivities in the capital though we have a great team of four heading to Racing Tauranga on Friday including a couple of 2 year olds needing the run before the Karaka Million. Millefiori & Sneaky Shark line up in race one before later on Weaponry and Super Sid get their chances!

On Saturday we kick off at Wellington Racing Club with another super 2 year old in Quattro Quinta who is chasing a stakes' win as is Brando who chases his first Group One in the Devan Plastics Levin Classic. Then our Group One star Avantage looks to defend her crown in the Group 1 JR & N Berkett Telgraph where she will start a hot favourite. Burgundy Belle also lines up here and will give a great account of herself!

It's a very exciting time for us with the racing this weekend then the Karaka Million races & of course Karaka sales rapidly approaching too. Thanks for all your support as always, we're so proud to have such great people involved with the Tangerine!
