Te Akau TV Mammoth Weekend Preview

Chomping at the bit for some great racing this weekend? If so, get your bets on!

Welcome to a mammoth edition of Te Akau TV! 42 runners competing at 3 venues, it's a big weekend of racing for Team Te Akau. We've got a lot to cover, so let's get right in to the action!

We're joined by Assistant Trainer Sam Bergerson and Racing Manager Reece Trumper as we dissect the meetings across Timaru, Matamata and Hawera.

We'll be seeing some familiar faces and some new ones as well! Imperatriz has stayed on New Zealand shores after galloping at Te Rapa last Friday and she takes her place as the favourite in the Group One Arrowfield Stud Plate. She is joined by Prise De Fer who could back up in next weekend's Livamol Classic at Hastings.

We will see Karaka 2YO Million winner Dynastic in the Group 2 AHD Hawke's Bay Guineas, along with Accidental Tourist - Markus Aurelius, Perfect Scenario and Belle En Rouge take their place in the Listed Team Wealleans Matamata Cup.

After getting Rhetorical home last week, Sam will look to keep his outstanding 6/6 best bet record intact while Reece will attempt to get off the mark. Make sure you watch to the end for our best bet tips.
