Te Akau TV - Weekend Preview

Welcome to another edition of Te Akau TV where rain across the North Island looks like it could disrupt the plans of our New Zealand runners.

That hasn't stopped the sun from shining across the ditch and we have three exciting runners lining up in competitive races at Rosehill & Sandown.

Contender for New Zealand 2 year old of the year honours Sword of State will kick off his spring campaign in @cambridge stud colours for the first time. He races in the Listed Petaluma Heritage Stakes where he will carry 60kg from barrier 8. 

Impressive last start Sheraco Stakes' winner Entriviere will attempt to add more black type in Group 2 Golden Pendant. This will be her last race on her path to The Invitation which is held on Saturday 23rd October.

Finally, darling mare Probabeel is on the quick back up in the Group One Underwood stakes as she crosses over to the WFA path and faces up against the well-tried Zaaki in a small but classy field at Sandown. 

Jamie Richards also covers off the world record breaking sale of Avantage including touching on some of his favourite race memories and what Coolmore sire he'd mate her with.
