Te Akau TV Weekend Preview

Our heartfelt wishes go out to everyone affected by tropical cyclone Gabrielle. While we have endured loss of power and are undertaking remedial work at Te Akau Stud, our issues pale in comparison to what has taken place in other parts of the North Island - our hearts and minds are with the families who have lost loved ones, with those who are missing and with those displaced and affected during this week's events.

In this weeks episode of Te Akau TV we are joined by Te Akau Assistant Trainer Sam Bergerson as we look at the week that's been, including Imperatriz' scorching victory in the Group One BCD Sprint and her ambitious plans across the Tasman. She was supported by Sans Doute and It's Business Time for a hat trick of wins for Team Te Akau at Te Rapa on Saturday, while Miss Dunsford took the team's Saturday tally to four, dead-heating for the win at Riccarton. Felicienne also chimed in with a well deserved win on Friday at Hastings.

Sam covers off our runners at both New Plymouth on Friday and Pukekohe Park on Saturday. Last season's Karaka 2YO Million winner Dynastic takes his place in the Group 2 AJC Avondale Guineas while last season's joint NZB Filly of the Year winner Self Obsession takes her place alongside Soprano Supreme in the Group 2 ATR Avondale Cup.

We'll see if Sam can continue his prolific tipping form as he provides his best bet for the weekend!

Remember to keep up to date with any scratchings or balloted runners over on loveracing.nz or turfclub.com.sg.

Stay safe - good luck to all runners and connections.
