Te Akau TV - Weekend Preview

We're back for the penultimate week of Te Akau TV as we catch-up with Racing Manager Reece Trumper.

Reece talks us through this week's winners Group 3 winner Aromatic, Accidental Tourist, Viva Vienna, Puketiro, Aotea Lad, What You Wish For and Fierce Flight. A special mention to Jessica Allen for her first winning ride on Aotea Lad at Te Rapa on Saturday. It was just her first ever race day and only second race day ride - there's plenty more in store for this talented young lady!

This week we cover off the team's chances on Saturday at Pukekohe Park and Riccarton, and Awapuni on Sunday. At Pukekohe Park we see The Princie One in the Listed Staphanos at Novara Park Champagne Stakes and Belle of the Ball, The Perfect Pink and Fashion Shoot in the Group 3 Manco Easter Handicap. Further south at Riccarton it's Family Ties, Miss Dunsford and Alminette all on the quick back-up in the Listed New Zealand Bloodstock Warstep Stakes - while Perfect Scenario takes his place in the Group 3 Coca-Cola Canterbury Gold Cup. This race was of course taken out in emphatic style by Prise De Fer last season. Finally, Millefiori and Synchronize line up in the Listed Manawatu ITM ANZAC Mile.

As always, Reece provides his best bet for the weekend.

Next week will be the final edition of Te Akau TV for the season as we cover off Cambridge Breeders Stakes' Day at Te Rapa.
