Te Akau Racing has three horses entered on Friday 13 February at Kilmore and at Cranbourne in Victoria.
Kilmore:
Weather: fine, track: Soft5, rail: true. No rain forecast.
3:45 p.m. (NZ) - 1:45 p.m. (Vic) R2 1 Prismatic (7 g Savabeel – Kaleidoscope) – Dean Parker; he is an incredibly consistent jumper that ended his previous campaign finishing third in the Grand National Steeplechase (4500m), while contributing to trainer Mark Walker winning the JJ Houlahan Championship Jumps’ Trainer of the Year award. Resuming in the A$22,000 Benchmark 56 High-weight 2000 metres, he looked good closing solidly for third in a 1400-metre jump out on 19 January at Cranbourne, has previously raced well when fresh and is drawn (2) well to secure an economical trip.
3:45 p.m. (NZ) - 1:45 p.m. (Vic) R2 2 West Indies (4 g Fastnet Rock – Anchovy) – Steven Pateman; he remained rearward in a 1200-metre jump out on 2 February at Cranbourne, and also resumes in the A$22,000 Benchmark 56 High-weight 2000 metres. He has been a dual winner to 2200 metres, and is looking to get his new prep underway with an encouraging performance however the draw doesn’t help his chance (11).

Weather: fine, track: Soft5, rail: out 9 metres. No rain forecast.
8:45 p.m. (NZ) - 6:45 p.m. (Vic) R2 1 Cinturato (3 g Shamus Award – Pirellina) – Lachlan Neindorf; he quickened clear stylishly after leading to win a jump out on 19 January at Cranbourne, likewise with Neindorf aboard, and resumes in the A$60,000 Maiden 3YO 1400 metres. He ran on well for a debut third, and was then spelled after a solid effort for sixth in the Group 3 Caulfield Guineas Prelude over 1400m.
