Te Akau New Zealand has two horses racing on Tuesday 20 November at Waipa.

1.03 p.m. R2 5 Weaponry (3 g Declaration of War - Cat Shmea) - Opie Bosson; trialled well for second over 1000 metres on 1 November at Te Aroha, and debuts from barrier five in the $10,000 Maiden 3YO 1150 metres. Striking a solid line up, he could situate camped on the leaders and show acceleration to rate an each way chance. His dam won on debut over 1000 metres, and Declaration of War, Joint Champion Older Male in Europe, was a triple Group One winning miler in Europe - oldest progeny now three. Fixed odds: $5.50 & $1.85.

2.48 p.m. R5 5 Dublin Rose (3 f O'Reilly - Irish Dream) - Nik Bakar (a4); was clear in second, after trailing, when resuming here on Slow8 in the Maiden 3YO 1150 metres on 31 October, and steps up in the $10,000 Maiden 3YO 1400 metres. Naturally talented, with solid form, she is aided by weight relief to 51.5kgs and rates a top three chance again if appreciative of the extra distance. Fixed odds: $6.00 & $2.10.
