Te Akau Waipa Preview
10 November, 2015
Te Akau New Zealand has two horses entered for the eight race programme on Tuesday 10 November at Waipa.
As on Monday 9 November the conditions were: fine and Good3, rail out 3 metres 800m - 200m and false rail in place.
2.07 p.m. R3 10 Our Abbadean (3 f Lookin at Lucky - Highland Lights) - Michael McNab; came from last when working home near the rail for sixth on 7 October in the $12,000 NZB Pearl Series Maiden Fillies & Mares 1300 metres at Taupo, after proving little inferior to stable-mate and winner Tatters (Tavistock) when resuming with a close fourth in the Maiden 1200 metres on Slow8 footing at Te Rapa. This rider combined well with her at Te Rapa, and her trial prior. Drawn barrier four in the Maiden 3YO 1400 metres, she meets a couple with reasonable form but rates a top four chance.
4.33 p.m. R7 12 Hysteria Lane (4 m Perfectly Ready - Lane Cove) - Cameron Lammas; ran on belatedly after being shuffled back to last on Oct. 17 when resuming off 138 days in the $25,000 NZB Pearl Series Rating 65 Fillies & Mares 1200 metres at Rotorua. With benefit derived from the run, she has the ability to threaten a strong field in the Rating 65 1150 metres.
