Te Akau Waipa Preview
25 November, 2015
Te Akau New Zealand has two horses entered for the eight race programme on Thursday 26 November at Waipa.
As on Wednesday 25 November the conditions were: cloudy and Good3; rail out 4 metres 800m - 200m and false rail in place.
4.20 p.m. R4 9 Sequitur (4 g High Chaparral - Deduction) - Cameron Lammas; makes his debut in the Maiden 2000 metres, which is the right sort of journey to suit his pedigree and type. His dam is a three-quarter sister to Might and Power (Zabeel). A wide draw may prove advantageous, giving him a chance to work forward and settle in or near the lead.
5.34 p.m. R6 14 Hysteria Lane (4 m Perfectly Ready - Lane Cove) - Cameron Lammas; switched to the inside, taking advantage of the false rail, to finish third here on Nov. 10 in the Rating 65 1150 metres and requires a further scratching in order to contest the corresponding race. She has trained on well and rates a top three chance.
