Te Akau Wairoa (Day 2) Preview

Te Akau New Zealand has one horse entered for the seven-race programme on Sunday 22 February at Wairoa.

As on Saturday 21 February the conditions were: fine and Dead5, rail true.

4.25 p.m. R7 5 Zarules (3 g Zabeel - Gwen's Rules) - Kelly Myers; produced a notable effort on debut for third in the Maiden 1450 metres on the first day of the meeting here, last Thursday, and tackles the corresponding race. He will be ridden a touch quieter from barrier twelve and any improvement, plus the right kind of trip, would see him competitive again.
