Te Akau Wanganui Preview

Te Akau New Zealand has four horses racing on Friday 15 February at Wanganui.

As on Thursday 14 the conditions were: fine and Dead4, rail out 2 metres. No rain forecast.

1.07 p.m. R2 3 Enrichment (2 g Rock ‘N' Pop - Enhance) - Dylan Turner; displayed a
good action when winning a trial in January at Cambridge, and debuts in the
$10,000 Maiden 2YO 1200 metres. His dam stylishly won her first two starts.
Drawn barrier five in a field including six first starters, he could prove quite
competitive.

2.52 p.m. R5 5 Enduring Love (3 f Camelot - Holy Moly)
- Rosie Myers; closed
hard off the trail for second in the Maiden 1200 metres on 28 January at
Te Teko, and contests the $10,000 NZB Insurance Pearl Series Maiden 1350 metres
(eligible $11,500 bonus). She has struck some strong fields and appears ideally
placed to threaten from barrier one.

4.04 p.m. R7 4 Te Akau Dragon (3 g Power - Cool Diamond) - Dylan Turner; given time since debuting on
6 December in the Maiden 1100 metres at New Plymouth, he finished
strongly for second in a 1200-metre trial on 22 January at Matamata. With the addition of visor
blinkers, he can produce an improved showing in the $10,000 Maiden 1350 metres.

4.40 p.m. R8 5 Golden Age (3 g Savabeel - La Belle Epoque) - Dylan Turner; closed
solidly from ninth for a close fourth in the Maiden 3YO 1400 metres on 23
January at Avondale, having found the line for a notable sixth on debut prior
over 1200 metres at Matamata. Bred to get over more ground, he should
appreciate stepping up in the $10,000 Maiden 1600 metres and with the addition
of side winkers he appears a strong chance.
