Te Akau Wanganui Preview

Te Akau New Zealand has two horses entered for the ten race programme on Thursday 14 January at Wanganui.

As on Wednesday 13 January the conditions were: overcast and Good3, rail out 4 metres.

2.08 p.m. R4 10 I See Fire (3 f Encosta De Lago - Chasing Mammon) - Matt Cameron; makes her debut from barrier six in the Maiden 3YO Fillies 1200 metres. The trip away and race will be good experience and based on her work since a recent trial she rates a top four chance.

5.38 p.m. R10 3 Osmunda (5 m O'Reilly - Wyndam Special) - Matt Cameron; was ruled out by rain-affected going at Tauranga, and Rotorua, and drops in class for the Rating 65 1600 metres. Following an economical trip from barrier one, she appears a solid each way prospect in this field.
