Te Akau New Zealand has one horse entered for the seven race programme on Thursday 16 June at Wanganui.

As on Wednesday 15 June the conditions were: cloudy and Heavy10, rail out 3 metres. No rain forecast.

1.53 p.m. R3 6 Skyscraper (4 g Manhattan Rain - Grand Performance) - Daniel Miller (a1.5); put the slipper in a long way out before winning the Rating 65 High-weight 1600 metres by seven lengths on Heavy11 at Matamata, with this rider aboard, and steps up in grade for the Rating 75 High-weight 1600 metres. Second at his only course attempt, he has won two of the last three and although meeting a far stronger field can be afforded a good chance.
