Te Akau Wanganui Preview

Te Akau New Zealand has one horse entered for the seven race programme on Thursday 7 July at Wanganui.

As on Wednesday 6 July the conditions were: fine and Heavy10, rail out 5 metres. Rain forecast after 6 p.m. race day.

3.35 p.m. R6 2 Esprit De Corps (3 g Bel Esprit - Vercors) - Cameron Lammas; travelled like a winner inside the 800m before dealing to his rivals by 3 ¾ lengths in the Maiden 1400 metres on Heavy10 at Te Aroha. The manner of the performance, and time in comparison to the other 1400-metre race on the day, should rate him a major player up in grade for the Rating 65 1360 metres.
