Te Akau Racing has two horses entered on Sunday 23 June at Warrnambool (Victoria). NOTE: Te Aroha races, New Zealand abandoned due to water on the track.

3:15 p.m. (NZ) ~ 1:15 p.m. (Vic) R3 6 Prismatic (5 g Savabeel – Kaleidoscope) – Aaron Kuru; he easily won the Maiden Hurdle (3200m) on 30 May at Hamilton (Victoria), also with Kuru aboard, and contests the A$40,000 Coastal Wholesalers Hurdle (3200m). He possesses a good record around 3000m – 3200m, and with the leading rider again engaged, he rates a top three chance.
3:55 p.m. (NZ) ~ 1:55p.m. (Vic) R4 2 Leaderboard (9 g Street Cry – Flower Fairy) – Aaron Kuru; he cruised home to win (3 ¼ lengths) the Maiden Hurdle (3200m) on 30 April at Warrnambool, likewise with Kuru aboard, and stepped up with a great performance for second in the Australian Hurdle (3900m) on 2 June at Sandown. He brings a very good jumping record to there contest and rates a top three chance in the A$40,000 Warrnambool BM120 Steeplechase (3450m).
