Te Akau Waverley Preview
Te Akau New Zealand has two horses entered for the seven race programme on Thursday 29 September at Waverley.
As on Wednesday 28 September the conditions were: cloudy and Slow8, rail out 2 metres 950m to 320m. 4mls rain forecast today, 6mls forecast 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. race day.

2.33 p.m. R3 14 Stolen Love (3 f Savabeel - Steal) - Matt Cameron; has looked good when finding the line from off the pace in two preparatory trials, exuding a nice way of going. Bred to get over more ground, she appears ideally placed here on debut from barrier two in the Maiden 3YO 1200 metres.

3.08 p.m. R4 4 Rocksun (4 g Fastnet Rock - Beyond the Sunset) - Matt Cameron; carried 59kgs to victory over 1400 metres on Slow8 in June at New Plymouth, and produced a very good trial for third at Cambridge, to recent Gold Trail Stakes (Gr. 3, 1200m) winner Honey Rider (Pins), when working home under his own steam. Resuming in the Rating 75 1200 metres, after winning two of his last four starts, he will be strongly supported in this field.
