Te Akau New Zealand has three horses racing on Thursday 4 October at Waverley.

3.02 p.m. R5 9 Queen Of The Air (3 f I Am Invincible - Flying Single) - Samantha Collett; trialled well for second in August at Te Rapa, and resumes in the $10,000 Maiden 1200 metres. Thought enough of to contest the Wellesley Stakes (Listed, 1000m) at her second start, finishing fourth, she meets a handy field but can be prominent from barrier eight and has the ability to threaten.

3.37 p.m. R6 10 Willpower (3 g Power - The Lady) - Lisa Allpress; peaked on his run after racing on pace when resuming in the Maiden 1200 metres on 14 September at Woodville, and contests the corresponding event. Planned to ride patiently from barrier eight with a view to finding the line, he displays natural ability and can return to form as an each way chance.

4.12 p.m. R7 6 Tiffany's Time (5 m Alamosa - Tinsel Time) - Samantha Collett; resumes in the $11,000 Rating 72 1200 metres, having trialled twice this season. A consistent performer, improving with maturity, she has registered October wins (1400m) for the last two years, and should sprint well in a fresh state before stepping up.
