Te Akau New Zealand has nine horses racing on Sunday 15 November at Waverley.

12.15 p.m. R2 5 Shadow Warrior (4 g Shamoline Warrior - Baldaque) - Danielle Johnson; sustained a strong gallop to win a trial in March at Avondale, trialled twice since and debuts in the $10,000 Maiden 1400 metres. He has the pedigree and family form to handle give in the ground.

12.45 p.m. R3 14 Illusion of Paris  (3 f Pure Champion - Phantom of Paris) - Danielle Johnson; rounded off solidly amongst runners in midfield when trialling on 27 October at Taupo, and debuts in the $10,000 Maiden 1400 metres. From the second crop of Pure Champion (Footstepsinthesand), from an Elusive City (Elusive Quality) half-sister to Raw Instinct (Housebuster), multiple stakes winner of 13 races.

1.20 p.m. R4 2 Boutonniere  (3 g Burgundy - Bouquet) - Danielle Johnson; capped three thirds with win a deserved victory over 1400 metres last December at New Plymouth. He kept finding for a close second when trialling on 27 October at Taupo, and brings the right all-round form to rate a top three chance in the $10,000 Rating 65 1400 metres.

1.20 p.m. R4 7 Xplosion (4 m Showcasing - Xpress) - Chelsea Burdan (a2); never had all favours, back and wide, before making ground in the straight when resuming in the Rating 65 1200 metres on 21 October at Matamata, and steps up in the $10,000 Rating 65 1400 metres. A winner on Dead4 over 1340 metres at Wanganui, she is capable of a solid performance. 

1.55 p.m. R5 2 Ginger Too  (4 g Iffraaj - La Chiflota) - Chelsea Burdan (a2); resumed with a notable effort for third to impressive winning stable-mate Entriviere (Tavistock) in the Rating 65 1300 metres on 14 October at Tauranga, and contests the $10,000 Rating 65 1400 metres. A consistent type, he has weight relief to 57kgs and rates a top three chance from barrier one.

1.55 p.m. R5 10 Zouluminous (4 m Zoustar - Luminous Harmony) - Danielle Johnson; never had all favours second-up in the Rating 65 1400 metres on 24 October at Te Rapa, and strikes a softer assignment in the $10,000 Rating 65 1400 metres. She won her Maiden by four lengths in January at Wanganui, stronger this time in, and capable of a bold showing. 

2.30 p.m. R6 7 Oceans Eight  (5 m Ocean Park - Ruud Van Slaats) - Danielle Johnson; was unlucky not to win during her first campaign and fought on for fifth after trailing fresh-up in the $10,000 Maiden 1200 metres on 8 October at Woodville. Contesting the corresponding event, she is ideally drawn (1) to rate a top three chance. 

2.30 p.m. R6 12 Vincere (4 m Pins - Lasting Luck) - Ryan Elliot; looked good at the trials before running a fast last 600m (35.5) when getting home for third in the Maiden 1100 metres on 19 August at Taupo, and freshened after running in September at Matamata. She kept up a good gallop for third when trialling on 27 October at Taupo, and resumes in the $10,000 Maiden 1200 metres. His dam recorded two of her five wins on slow footing in Australia.

4.15 p.m. R9 2 Fabulous Flight (6 g I Am Invincible - Court Flying) - Danielle Johnson; was not far away amongst a clump of runners in the Rating 74 1400 metres on 28 October at Te Aroha. A winner four times to 1600 metres, he receives a chance to show further improvement from barrier five in the $11,000 Rating 74 1650 metres.
